Nothing is by chance. God's providence.
Over time, I have become convinced that nothing was accidental and that God has worked (and is working) constantly in my life, and of course, in the lives of each of you. We just need to pay a little attention to what is happening around us, and put God first, and we will see that His providence is always present in our lives.
I will tell you an incident that raised questions for me, even though I was not aware of God's work in my life at the time.
In 2010, my father passed away, while I was still enrolled in college. My father's death came suddenly, without any great suffering before, so it was a pretty big shock for us too. Following his death, I decided to move in with my mother for a while, even if that meant giving up the second college I had started. Because I was going through a difficult time, and because I had an acquaintance who was passionate about animals, I decided to buy a puppy for my mother, to distract her from the event that had just taken place. After many requests to bring me that puppy, a West Highland white terrier, finally, about 3 months after the event, I managed to buy it. Along with it, I also received its birth certificate. Even though I received it after 3 months, the biggest shock I had was when I discovered that the puppy's date of birth was exactly the same as that of my father's death: November 27, 2010.
There have been many such incidents in my life, and I am absolutely convinced that you also have a lot of similar incidents, which were recorded in your life records as "coincidental events". Nowadays, I no longer believe in “luck” or “chance”, but I believe 100% in God’s work in my life, and I thank Him for everything now, even if I didn’t use to before.
We should also be vigilant when it comes to everyday events, especially when it comes to the people we meet that day. God works through people, so either we need the help of those we meet, or they need something from us. The important thing is to behave in a Christian way, with attention and love, and to put the needs of our interlocutor first. It is also in our choice, our free will, to behave beautifully towards people who just pass by us, trying not to judge or classify them in any way. We are all unique and beautiful in our own way, and God is the only one who knows the inner depths of each one.
