How do souls travel to Heaven?


Once, while he was praying and his gaze was fixed on heaven, divine light shone upon him. Then an angel appeared to him, dressed in white, in the vestments of a deacon. He held a golden censer with which he incensed first to heaven and then to Niphon. Suddenly, the gates of heaven opened, and the angels of God ascended and descended like bees, carrying the souls of dying people.

The cunning spirits in the air strove to catch them and throw them down, but the angels resisted strongly, striking them and saving the souls. When that holy soul reached heaven, a multitude of angels gathered around him, who embraced and kissed him with love, saying with joy: “Glory to God, Who has delivered this soul also from the fearful and unclean devils!”

Prayer - the key to another world

Since I discovered prayer, I can say that I have found myself again, but not in any way, but much stronger . Prayer is the key to God's world, a world full of love, freedom, patience, mercy, forgiveness, hope, faith , and other wonderful qualities. A world in which I certainly want to live, as well as all those close to me (including those who are asleep), and not only (but since I am not the one who decides on behalf of others, all I can do is pray for them). This world of prayer is not an imaginary one, but one as concrete as possible. A world in which God, the Mother of God, and the saints listen to our prayers and, if they are useful to us, at the right time, they are also fulfilled. Prayers to the Mother of God and to the saints are intercessory prayers, in which we ask them to intercede for us before the Lord Jesus Christ, so that He, in His omniscience, may decide whether or not to fulfill the prayers addressed to Him by us.
